#otp: no one’s gonna hurt you #this was such a fucked up moment #she is going through so much right now and then there is Stefan – questioning their relationship because she asked damon for help #but it’s not even like Stefan didn’t know what was wrong with her #he was there when she vomited after drinking the animal blood#did he help her? no #he just told her that it’s normal and wanted to celebrate her first hunt #he was happy and elena is not someone who ruins happiness for the people she loves #she doesn’t want him to worry and that’s why she goes to damon#to find a way out because she is still not keeping anything down and it gets worse#she was starving ffs #and let’s face it - damon is just the better one when it comes to vampire questions #stefan is too caught up in his bunny world to see that maybe this is the wrong way for her #he thinks she would never get over hurting someone#but elena is strong #she would be upset for a while #of course #but with the help of her friends and family she could get through it #and after all that’s what damon is - her best friend #someone who has saved her life countless times #basically the only one who hasn’t told her they have to ‘fix’ her being a vampire #and someone who would never judge her for choosing human blood over animal diet
